Annie Hood
PMHNP-BCAnnie is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), providing psychiatric services to individuals ages 16 and older. She received advanced practice training at Oregon Health & Science University, graduating with an MSN. With Board Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a lifespan Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
As a PMHNP, she worked with young people experiencing first episodes of psychosis, folks with criminal justice involvement in community and corrections settings, with students in a college health center, and in substance use treatment settings. Her specialities include treatment of mood issues, psychosis, anxiety, trauma, and medication-assisted treatment of substance use concerns. Her approach is very client-centered, warm and collaborative, utilizing supportive and brief psychotherapies alongside evidence-based pharmacotherapeutic interventions to support an individual’s goals for mental health.
